Overview

Start your tour in Hanoi Vietnam’s capital and the second largest city by population. You will vist the well preserved colonial buildings, ancient pagodas and unique museums. Cruise around Halong Bay and enjoy an overnight on board with yor family and friends. Fly to Hue to discover the exotic cultures. Visit the southeast Asian trading port Hoi An. Board a traditional boat for a leisurely ride along Thu Bon River ,stop off at Thanh Ha Ceramic village and wander around to learn about this craft village. Fly to Saigon and explore the Cu chi tunnels and get away from the crowds and visit Go Cong island to experience the village life style. An authentic experience is guranteed on this tour 9 night tour  and it will sure cover the highlights of Vietnam.

Itinerary

Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the hotel. You will be offered a welcome drink and the tour briefings in the hotel lobby. Check into the hotel for refreshments. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

After breakfast you will take an in-depth tour of the most interesting sites in Hanoi. The tour includes the visits to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum – Ba Dinh Square – The old residence of Ho Chi Minh – One Pillar Pagoda – Ethnological Museum – Temple of Literature – time for breaks and food or drinks (at your own expenses) – Ngoc Son Temple – take an in -depth walking tour of Hanoi Old Quarter for an overview of the local life and businesses before your return to the hotel. The rest of the day is yours.

Early rise – breakfast – Around 06:00 am, take a drive on a countryside road through the paddy fields to Ha Long Bay, one of New Seven Natural Wonders – visit fish market – Hon Gai market is the focal fish market of Ha Long. The boat after catching fishing offshore will bring the freshest seafood brought to the market to sell. Wholesale is the main. The owners of seafood shops of other markets are gathered here to get goods.

Upon arrival at the harbor, you will board a traditional boat – set sail through the limestone islands – have a nice seafood lunch – take a sampan ride to visit a traditional fishing village – return to the boat and attend a short cooking class – time to rest on the upper deck at sunset – enjoy a delicious dinner. The rest of the day is your leisure. Why not play cards, try your luck at fishing, watch movies or simply enjoy some drinks and chat with your friends at the bar on board.

Up early – top deck – Tai Chi – light breakfast – disembark for an easy exploration of the cave close by – return to your boat – check out your cabins – enjoy a nice brunch while sailing back to land. On the way back we will visit Quang Ninh museum – It was designed by Spanish architect and has unique architecture, charming space and plenty of valuable artifacts. Coming here, the visitors will have a chance to admire a whale skeleton and sailboat models and other valued cultures and history – time for breaks and food or drinks (at your own expenses) – onward travel to the airport for your short flight to Hue – Pick up and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is yours.

After breakfast you will take an in-depth tour of this historical city. Today’s experiences include: Cau Ngoi Village – the countryside market – The Hue Old Citadel, which contains the Imperial City and the Purple Forbidden City – time for breaks and food or drinks (at your own expenses) – taking a leisurely boat trip on Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda – transfer by road to visit Minh Mang Tomb – return to the hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure

Breakfast – transfer by road along the coastal road toward Hoi An ancient town – head up the Hai Van with a stop at the top of the Pass to explore old French bunkers and take in a parting view of Da Nang and the bay – onward travel downhill and then stop at Nam O Bridge & Red Beach II (where the US Marines made their famous amphibious landing 1965) – time for rest and drinks ( at your own expenses) – visit Cham Sculpture Museum – proceed to Hoi An ancient town with a visit to Marble Mountain – check in the hotel. The rest of the day is yours.

Breakfast – pick up from the hotel and take an in-depth walking tour of the most interesting sites in Hoi An, which include the Japanese Covered Bridge, Chinese Assembly Halls, Tan Ky Ancient House, and The vibrant market – time for rest and drinks or food (at your own expenses) – Free time for shopping – In the afternoon, Board a traditional boat for a leisurely ride along Thu Bon River – stop off at Thanh Ha Ceramic village – wander around to learn about this craft village – return to the boat and proceed to Kim Bong Carpentry village – leave your boat and stroll around for an insight into this furniture making village – float along the river towards Cua Dai before transfer back to your hotel.

After breakfast, you will be met and driven along the countryside road towards My Son Sanctuary. Upon arrival, transfer by electric car to the sites – spend your time wandering around the sites for more information & photographic opportunities – enjoy a traditional show performed by Cham people – visit Cham Sculpture Museum – return to Hoi An ancient town – time for a break and drinks or food (at your own expenses) – Then, you will have fishing tour in the afternoon (board a bamboo basket boat – float along the river to the Water Coconut Forest – catching fish, crabs and shrimps) before transferring to airport for flight to Sai Gon.

Breakfast at hotel, today you will explore:

  • Cu Chi tunnels
  • Cho Lon: walking through small China town and visit Thien Hau temple.
  • Riding rickshaw through different local markets for 40 minutes.
  • Walking through small alleys and small local market to explore the real Saigon.
  • New city to see the contrast between old and new residences.
  • Downtown: war museum and site, walking on Dong Khoi road to visit French colonial buildings and CIA building where the last helicopter evacuated people climbing on the ladder, FITO museum
  • Walking on the walking square to Saigon river and Bitexco building

Not a million miles from the great metropolis of Ho Chi Minh City lies an island which takes you back in time. The sparsely populated Go Cong Island offers the intrepid traveller the opportunity to experience village life. The untouched island is visited by very few tourists.  The villagers offer a friendly smile before taking you in to their homes for lunch.  They are immensely proud of their villages and way of live.  You will see how they live off the land, how they grown Dragon Fruit, find out the uses of coconut and try a fresh chili (if you dare!).  Explore the waterways in a sampan and ride the local roads by bike.  An authentic experience awaits, and all this just an hour and half from the Ho Chi Minh City. Then, transfer to airport for your departure flight.
